TOD "TOAD" VAN VALKENBURGH

Please join family, friends and fans to say a fond farewell to a talented man, wonderfully gifted musician, loving husband and caring, hip Daddy-O.  He is survived by his wife, Sandra; daughters, Kristina and Kauri; much loved son of Gerald Van Valkenburgh (MaRene) and Judy Nesbitt (Allen); sister, Kristen LaVanway; caring mother-in-law, Helen Bush; and many nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Torrance, graduated from Torrance High School at the top of his class; getting his degree in APICS from Cal State Dominguez. He picked up his guitar at the young age of 12 and never put it down. Making a great catalogue of his original songs for all to hear. Tod met his wife, Sandra in 1984. This hard-working man found a new hobby, cooking. Sauces were his specialty. He had hoped to open his own restaurant. He will be sorely missed by all. Services to be held Thursday, September 13th, 2007, 11:00am at A.M. Gamby Funeral Home in Lomita, CA.  Interment will be private.
